Attentive to the Holy Spirit - it's a church value and an encounter group value. We need the Holy Spirit to enable us to do what we can't do!

Jesus' baptism: Luke 3:16 John predicts the coming of Jesus; Luke 3:21-22 as Jesus was praying the Spirit descended.

Jesus needed to be filled with the Spirit to fulfill his calling and ministry. We are the same. It's a continual process not a one-off

Application

Since Jesus was already God, why did he need to be filled with the Holy Spirit? Why do we need to be filled?

What does the Holy Spirit do for us / produce in us?
