Luke 2:25-40 Simeon and Anna greet the baby Jesus in the Temple.

Simeon was righteous, devout, waiting, believing, touched by the Holy Spirit, obedient and prophetic. He knew the Word of God.

Anna was old, selfless, committed and prayerful.

Both were waiting patiently and recognised Jesus as what they were waiting for.

Waiting isn't popular nowadays, but God blesses those who wait (Isa 30:18, Acts 1:4). Patience is a fruit of the Spirit
