DadTalk social network for fathers: DadTalk is a new resource for fathers to strengthen, improve and expand their role as a parent. The social networking site encourages dads to communicate with one another and take up the new opportunities it offers to learn from each other, from experts and from trained moderators on the site.

Of weekend warriors and war paint: TLC youth group went to war at the weekend (well sort of). Eighteen intrepid youth and four brave adults donned the camouflage to battle it out in the woods north or Royston on an otherwise peaceful Sunday afternoon.

Hope for Royston and District: We are now well into 2008, the year of Hope, and loads of good things are happening up and down the country as churches engage with their local communities as part of Hope 08. Here in the Royston area, TLC have been delivering Hope 08 Easter cards to households in Royston, one of the initiatives being run by Churches Together in Royston & District.

The Passion on prime-time TV: This Easter the BBC are screening a drama portraying the events of Jesus' life leading up to his crucifixion and resurrection. If it gets a proportion of viewers talking about Jesus this Easter, that can be no bad thing.

Plumbline Leaders Conference in Galway: Five members of TLC joined with other leaders from round the Plumbline Ministries International network in Ireland for a three day conference. We had some inspiring meetings, some fantastic praise and worship and a lot of time to reflect and meet with God.
